Sam Miranda Arneis 2017

The Wine
A variety that is a style of its own, combining delicate lemon blossom
flavours with a powerful yet elegant structure. For me it is one of the
best white wines for matching with a wide range of fuller flavoured
meals. This little rascal will surprise you with its ageing potential over the
next 5 - 6 years

Winemaking
Handpicked and gently presed to minimise the extraction of any harsh phenolics that this little rascal of a variety tends to possess if not treated with a bit of love! A great wine that will match more robust meals of white meats and chacuterie ove the next 5 - 6 years.

Viticulture
The fruit was grown at two high altitude vineyards at the base of Mt Buffalo and upper Cheshunt. Both sites are influenced by the cold mountain air that flows down the valleys at night whic preserves the natural acidity and allows the fruit to develop ride vatietal flavours.
