Pops Long Lunch Menu. Due to the great success of the ‘2022 Pops Long Lunch’ Celebrare l’apertura della porta della cantina, Sam has raided the cellar again for 2023!
Let’s celebrate Sam’s father, Salvatore Francesco Miranda “Pop”, who would have been 84 TODAY.
Francesco Miranda (Sam’s grandfather) produced his first vintage in Griffith, NSW as “Miranda Wines”.
Eventually, Pop Miranda continued to grow the family wine making business.
In 1997 the site of the current vineyard in Oxley was purchased by the family and in 1998 the winery’s construction was completed.
In 2004, Sam (Junior) the third generation Miranda to be involved in the family’s winemaking in Australia, produced the first vintage from his Oxley vineyard. This was the start of Sam Miranda of the King Valley.
All dishes to share in each course will be paired with wines chosen by Sam from the range of vintages he has produced in the King Valley, and stored in “Pop’s Cellar”, since that first vintage. Which ones continue to tantalise? We can decide together – and agree to disagree!
The meal and wines we share together today will make a day to remember – talk and laugh with your family and friends, make new friends, as we help to finally celebrate a milestone!
